Secrets to Thriving in Babylon

In the book of Daniel, God’s servant was taken into exile to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar. The Lord encourages the exiles in Jeremiah 29,

“Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”

In other words, “Thrive in Babylon!”

The first few chapters of Daniel teaches ways to live in a “Babylonian” culture that is against Godly beliefs.

Following those principles, Secrets to Thriving in Babylon offers practical secrets to thriving in any workplace. God’s simple and actionable ways for His children to survive and thrive while living and working in a culture that doesn’t follow the teachings of Christ are uncovered.
